Enjoy a casual introduction to the art of tree shaping and create a living work of art for your deck, patio, or landscape.

• guided tour of various mature specimens in our gardens to observe & discuss how pruning has enhanced their structure.

Looking for a relaxed and fun way to connect with friends and family in the coming months? Bring your club or group to the gardens at Wildwood Farm for your own tailor-made workshop.
We provide everything you need, give clear instructions, and stay with your group to help out. Hot drinks are included. Baked treats can be part of the workshop fee; or you can pick up the goodies on the way!

Wreath Making WorkshopWe provide everything you need (excepting garden shears), provide clear instructions, and stay with the group to help with questions. You’ll leave with a masterpiece—even if you’ve never made a wreath before! This is also the peak time to enjoy the fall color on dogwoods and maples. Refreshments will be served.
Garden design and plantings with a focus on seasonal interest. We will discuss plants for sun and shade gardens. Appropriate plant material will be on hand.
Special guest: Joining us this afternoon will be Sonoma County ceramic artist, Todd Reed. Reed, who will be bringing new sculpture to the gardens, is an avid gardener.
Todd Reed will be available in the sculpture gardens to meet visitors and discuss his newest work.
Incorporating edible trees, shrubs and vines into your landscape. Format will allow participants to work in small groups to develop a working design. Samples of appropriate plant material will be on hand. Before closing we will set aside time for "critique." This supportive exchange allows all participants to benefit from the ideas of each small group.
