Fantasy Insects, Sculptures- Through Spring 2010

fall colorA multitude of enormous welded spiders crawl among brightly colored foliage in the garden gallery. These awesom arachnids range in size from 12" by 12" to 3.5 ft. tall with legs stretching out 9 ft. in length.

The artist, David Mudgett started his own metal fabrication business in 1986. His peers encouraged him to to apply his gift for metalwork to sculpture. Upon completion of his first piece it became clear he had found the creative freedom that he was looking for. David now enjoys sculpting full time. A perfectionist by nature, David comments: "Each piece—no matter how large—receives meticulous attention to detail."
